Meet the Founders

Hi! We’re Gary and Doug Moore, the father/son founders of Splash Guppie. We’re both love caring for and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces for our families to enjoy. But, what we don’t like is getting soaked when we just wanted to quickly water a few plants before going to work, or grocery shopping, or picking up kids from school.

You shouldn’t have to change your outfit to water your plants.

So, Gary came up with the idea for Splash Guppie, and Doug designed it.

As a multi-generational family of firefighters, we love how Splash Guppie’s sustainable design saves water by keeping it off of your nice pants and onto your thirsty plants. It also supports our philanthropic efforts, which you can read about below.

Installation is easy!
1. Remove any set screws from your backflow device
2. Clip Splash Guppie onto the hose bib between your backflow device and handle
3. Rotate Splash Guppie to your desired orientation
Splash Guppie is currently made via injection molding by our manufacturing partner in Houston TX. It is made out of polycarbonate with a UV resistant additive such that the device will last as long as possible even in direct sunlight and harsh environments. We are exploring alternative materials that are more environmentally friendly.
This product is made of UV resistant polycarbonate and designed to withstand harsh outdoor environments, even direct sunlight. It has a strong grip and is built to last.
